Joni Mitchell leaving Spotify

Just having a flick through, seems he regularly has Alex
Jones on?

For those that value free speech so much, how do you feel about Jones and Sandy Hook?
You should listen to the podcasts marra. They talk about Sandy Hook.

I wouldn’t say it’s regular either. Think he’s been on twice, maybe three times in total.

Spotify is amazing I've discovered so much music on there. It's a shame people are leaving because of Joe Rogan who is a very popular bloke, I'm not really a fan although he has some good guests on. Just ignore him if you don't like him. Are these artists going to leave YouTube or Twitter because people are on there they disagree with?

Thought you would have kept your vinyl/CD collection @cluffy. Not that I think that it`ll actually happen, but my fear of online services was one day they`d close down

I think your getting him mixed up with the Hippy bloke from the Young Ones
The streaming companies might go bust but I can't see online streaming coming to an end anytime soon.

Their product is having music that the consumer is willing to pay for. If artists disappear that effects the quality of their product.
As far as I am concerned Neil Young is one of 10-12 artists I listen to regularly (weekly). It would only take 3 or 4 of those artists to disappear from Spotify for me to stop paying for their product.
Well you should have plenty CD’s I’d imagine, listening to artists you listen to regularly is a waste of a service in my opinion.

It would be like subscribing to Sky and just watching Dave.

Yeah it is. But it’s also pretty homogenous now, there are tons of alternatives if you want the same output

It raises all kinds of questions I agree. I don’t particularly like deplatforming, but there is definitely a responsibility to stop misinformation

I think that`s unlikely but I still to have my favourite music on vinyl/CD. I use Spotify and downloads but I`ll never get rid of my collection. I may thin it down somewhat and get rid of the crap/stuff I took a punt on/stuff I`m not bothered about/cheapo purchases etc but trhe core bands and the good stuff will have to be prised out of my cold, dead hands ;)

I gave away all my vinyl and cd's. I had about 300 albums and thought I wouldn't need them again. I dread paying for them all again plus new cds on top. But I'm thinking about it now. It's made me realise it's probably better to have physical copies so I don't have to rely on an internet service.

We don’t get all the information available, perhaps if everything was transparent there wouldn’t be questioning.

The problem is not with anti-vaxxers it’s the stupid bastards that call everyone not jabbed anti-vaxxers.

I think that type are f***ing nuts and the ones that believe, even though the majority are jabbed see someone like Rogan a threat.

A threat to who, those they think are anti-vaxxers?

I’m not really interested in what Jones has to say. He’s a professional arsehole, and I don’t particularly want to give clicks to be outraged

It’s what the Daily Mail thrives on

I’ve no idea what you’re wittering about to be honest

Perhaps next time Alex Jones will check his sources before repeating things he reads on the internet to his audience.
"The internet told me it didn't happen". Grow up, you read it and thought "get in, another conspiracy to get me listeners". He didn't just question once as an accident, he kept talking about it on his show over a long period.
At any point he could have stopped, he needs to sell survivalist gear though.
