Joni Mitchell leaving Spotify

Most of the people criticising Rogan have probably never listened to a single one of his podcasts. His crimes are that he's unvaccinated and has spoken about trying different medications to treat Covid (prescribed to him by his doctor) - this led to CNN's grossly mis-leading claim that he took "horse dewormer" to treat Covid, they also doctored a video of him to make him look more ill than he was when he had Covid. He's also talked about people he knows who have had bad side effects supposedly from taking the vaccine. Discussion of either these things are apparently verboten and enrage a certain type of person for some reason.

I don't recall him ever saying that people should not get vaccinated. He's also stated multiple times that he's just an idiot and people should listen to experts not him.

I think there's also a general misunderstanding of the type of show the JRE is. It's supposed to be 'Average bloke' (Rogan) talks to and asks questions of 'Expert/interesting person/sporstman/comedian etc' usually for 2-4 hours in a conversational, informal, unplanned format. It's not supposed to be a news programme or a debate between experts where everybody has their facts to hand. Because of this, Rogan and his guests will sometimes talk shite, get their facts wrong etc - just as anybody who's ever had conversation has done. Most of his audience know this and don't need protecting from "mis-information".
 
I’m triple vaccinated but I also think people should have the right to decide what goes in there bodies.
if young and Mitchell are removing themselves from spotify isn’t this censorship which they would have written songs about once upon a time.

Just buy some 50p CD’s.
Hunt about around a car boot sale you’ll probably get them for 10p or ask someone you know they might give you them for nowt.

This is less damaging to Spotify as the company in Northern Ireland that bloke couldn’t get his cake from.
