You’d suspect at least he’d be match sharp and could come in, but he’s not kicked a ball in anger for Shrewsbury since losing to Wrexham in the FA Cup on January 6th.

There were folk at the time giving TM shit for not playing him. Mowbray put up with some shite from those above mind. FFS he asked for various players and kept being handed the likes of Anderson! Feel for him aswell, why's Speakman signing these players! Mind boggling

He's actually been alright for Shrewsbury, I'm surprised he's totally fallen out of favour to be honest. Since Paul Hurst came in for Matty Taylor at the end of January Anderson seems to have been bombed out, I think he's been on the bench once or twice maybe.

He's probably on a par with Seelt and Triantis.

One answer to that surely mate - he hopes they’ll make a few a quid. Free transfer, probably on next to nowt and hoping a Championship club would give us £500k or so.
There’s surely no way whatsoever him and Lihadji were scouted to play and improve us in the second half of last season?

It also shows how fucked our transfer policy is as it isn’t designed to help us for the season the windows take place in.
Look at January last year: Bailey Wright - no doubt on a lot more money than a lad who hadn’t made a single first team appearance.
We also brought in Lihadji who Mowbray admitted straight away was for the following season. He was sold in June for a hefty profit. Anderson wasn’t even thought of and was sitting on the bench when we didn’t have a single centre half for a play-off semi final, whilst Wright was on loan at Rotherham - who were paying his wage whilst his contract ran down.
All of the evidence is there for what these are doing. It’s bring young uns in who can be made money on even without making any sort of impact.

joe anderson - desperate for a centre half and he couldn't get in the team
joe geldhart - despite being the only striker at the club he was still only barely first choice, and we elected to play no striker often.
callum styles - desperate for a defensive midfield, still not sure what his position is, allegedly he plays there but has played everywhere but
hjelde - in desperate need of a left back, we but a centre half who 'can play there' unfortunately he plays there very badly

i don't even mind a model based on the future, but it seems like we've forgotten we need a team in the present.
