Jobe Bellingham - post SAFC compendium

No, marra. All the fancy diamonds, 10s, 6s, 8s, box to box and all that bollocks. A wise man once said: "football is a simple game." You want your best footballer picking the ball up deep and running the match. That's where Le Fee should be playing.
He'd need a stronger lad in with him as a minder. The PL is an extremely physical division.

He (Jobe) posted this story three hours ago linking back to the contract extension at the start of this season for upto 2028…

Isn't the whole thing he's posting about him having "unfinished business" last summer? And now he's finished it?

I’ll be gutted if he does go this year, how much would he cost to replace? If it’s 25m we get, that’s the sort of money you need to be spending to be on one established PL midfielder who you can chuck straight in his place. What’s the point?

At least if he stays and has a good season we could get a more inflated fee to be able to reinvest, even if we held on until January. His market value is potentially unlimited. To sell him for 25m now would be so weak.

I’d like to see him for a season in the PL with us too

Maybe Dortmund could loan him back to us for a season

Was always the plan unfortunately, he uses us to play and develop and we use him for his name and making money, he’s been brilliant for the club and we’ll make a big chunk of profit and even more when his next move happens with a significant sell on clause, goes with my best wishes as he’s helped get us back in the Premier League where we belong

If it is £40m take it and wish the lad well. Club need to have some balls now negotiating a higher fee. Hes developed physically over the last 12 months. I don’t think he would get the same amount of time on the ball in the PL so Germany would be a good move for him. If he stays then great let’s crack on. Nothing we say or do as supporters will change the outcome.

We won't get the loan. He'll be playing champions league next season with the aim of being in the England squad for the World Cup
It’s probably the right move for him.
A good balance of playing in a slightly less intense league than the EPL but with champions league football on the table too.
Personally, I think it’s done. Sunderland Echo say it’s €30m (£25m)

Just want him out the door as soon as possible so we can collect the money & re-invest.

Wish him and Tommy all the best. As he said himself, part of the squad that got this great club back to where it belongs.

Came in and helped us get to the PL playing a huge part. In return he got a bigger stage to perform and develop.

Bit of a win win for everybody and a shame he's going but it would always have been the plan..

Financially we will essentially replace Jobe with Le Fee.

30 million euros isn't enough imo, Archie Gray went for 40 million and he's a better player than him.

I want him to stay, the lad just knows football and has been one of our best players this year.

I have it on very good authority from someone who works at the club that he’s flying to Dortmund next week for talks. Hope he’s wrong.

Dortmund is a very smart move for him, if we struggle in the premier league he gets a lot of stick “he’s rubbish, he’s only playing cos of his brother” blah blah blah, at Dortmund his development goes under the radar, seems they’re a fantastic club for developing players and he’s going to play in Europe. I wish him all the best, he’ll need replacing quickly, we’re already a month behind the likes of Leeds and Burnley for our recruitment, I heard a while ago we wanted Tommy Doyle from Wolves also I wonder if Manchester City fancy loaning out James McAtee for a season.
