Far too many people shitting on the players who got us into the premier league in the first place here like.
Patterson,Ballard, Hume, Mayenda and Isidor deserve their shots at the premier league, Probably Rigg and Cirkin too.
I wouldn't mind a keeper better than Patterson but wouldn't be against him being our number 1 for the season.

Maybe, but they (in the majority) will be squad players. They’ll get minutes but not as many. Unfortunately the PL is no place for sentimentality.

Unfortunately the reality is they won’t be anywhere near good enough.
This is our big opportunity, we need to get it right now.
Is anyone bothered really about the players that helped us get promoted from League One that are not here anymore? Batth, Wright, Gooch, Embleton, Clarke, Stewart etc. ?
Players will get left behind and if it means we need to get 14-15 players this window to stay up then so be it.
