I read that as he hasn't spoken to or doesn't speak regularly to Short. His brief is to sell the club. If he can't sell the club then he needs to have a conversation with Short to find out what direction we go in next.Haven't read the full 5 pages. The last paragraph struck me, is he saying he's also sick and could be away if things don't change?
