It will go tits up - Christmas and he'll be gone
Wishful thinking?

You have to trust the owners, Ross from reading various articles has a big ego which is what is needed at our club for him to start the clearing the shit away, league 1 is turd and I reckon he will do well as not like we have had much success over the last 10 years so let’s see what he can do.
I hope you're right. We just have to let the new owners get on with it. It's looking promising so far but will take time and there won't be an instant fix as there wasn't the last time under Denis Smith. Welcome Jack Ross and good luck.

If the mags had appointed him you’d be pissing yourself laughing mind.
Well aye, cos you’re a premier team.
We’re in league one so have a more limited choice of managers to choose.
Still can’t believe that we’re two leagues below you and your inferiority complex still gives you a need to come on here and try to make yourself feel good by trying to put us down. We’re in league one man, f***ing relax and stop hating yourself.

Just leave them to it, they cant help themselves, its an illness, its called OBSESSED.

I’m thrilled another fellow jock has been appointed, even if I am slightly concerned at his lack of experience.

They are playing up the fact he has an economics degree, which seems rather beside the point to me!

Unless he is going to moonlight as commercial director of course....

Looking at his stats, he's been a manager for 115 games. When Reid took over he'd been a manager for 131 games. Reid had obviously had more experience at a big club with good players, but I wouldn't discount the experience Ross has had where he's been dependent on his tactical nous and man management ability. Reid also inherited a team that was doing ok. Either way, Reid wasn't that much more experienced than Ross when he took over

A team that was doing OK? We were dreadful and heading for league one when he came in.

Hope I'm wrong but if he hasn't sined today he isn't coming, this has a familiar feeling
On the radio up here last night they were saying that it's all done and dusted between all parties, just waiting for JR to come back and sign on the dotted line, I hope they're right, I know some are underwhelmed about Ross but if you talked to anyone up here they'd all agree that SAFC needs to clear out the shite and start from scratch, that can't happen when you bring in one of the losers that are on the magic managerial merry go round that inspires nobody except those looking to trouser hefty wages, I'd expect it to take JR until this time next season to convince most that he's the real deal, he'll be salivating watching some of the kids in the highlights near the end of the season.
