Good for St Mirren that he has got them out of it then isn't it?aye and that was a total embarrassment based on the fact that the championship is a pathetic league.
Coleman had the same win % at Real Sociedad as Ross had with Alloa.
Well I have my reservations but if he is the manager I will give him a chance as always. The thing is, who would be a low risk in our situation? He's young, ambitious, and has taken challenges in before. Let's see who his staff are and look to start moving players out and in. Out will not be his job but the signings will.I said there's not a single shred of evidence he's capable and there isn't. Most important season in this club's history. We need to get this right. This is a totally needless risk.
We don't want a manager off the usual list.Definitely- those expecting a manager off the usual list are going to be disappointed.
The statement of Stewart’s business partner that said something like we’re a League 1 club and have to start acting like one speaks volumes about the sort of candidates we’ll be looking at.
Sociedad were expected to win the league. Alloa were already in a relegation battle when he took over weren’t they?Coleman had the same win % at Real Sociedad as Ross had with Alloa.
I met him, his Mrs and their kids at a Salvidor Dali art exhibition....he was a bit flustered and pushed the pushchair into me. Seemed a nice bloke, he couldn’t apologise enough, he was just having a bad kids day.
very shrewd move from the Don.. a new start with fresh new ideas.. first job clear out the deadwood..People need to wake up and smell the coffee. Looks like we are getting a young hungry manager who’s just had a great season and collected manager of the year up in Scotland.
We are in league 1.
We haven’t chosen a footballing dinosaur in mick Mac who was hounded out of Ipswich. In fact we’ve shown more positively and took this fella off Ipswich where he was interviewed at least twice.
I welcome the new direction the new owners are taking.
Ive been reading their forum most of the day they are gutted to say the least but wish him well.. And its obvious he couldnt turn us down..What we need is a well rounded objective st mirren fan to come along and give us the lowdown on Ross, I’m sure one will be along in 5,4,3,2,1...
I just don’t get why he had to mention it on radio. He’s coming across as a bit of an attention seeker so far, nobody will mind if we are doing well but he’s going to get a shock of it doesn’t. We aren’t Eastleigh. I think he’s handled this very poorly.[/QUOTE
Maybe's drumming up business Mr Jardine and getting the club seen in a positive light. After years of doom and gloom let's get on board and enjoy the trip. It was great having our club talked about in the national media for such a long time instead of just a snap mention then onto to something else. Mr Donald had Jim White in a state of delirium guessing who the new manager is - excellent work marra.

I couldn't give a fuck about that man, can he organise a back four? Also just seen he has been Chairman of the Scottish PFA and holds an MA in Economics - they are both positive indicators in my humble opinion
Thats what makes him better? Even though Ross had the back end of a relegation season then won 10 on the trot and had Alloa in 2nd place. Whilst Sociedad were 5th when Coleman left?Coleman had the same win % at Real Sociedad as Ross had with Alloa.
