When in reality we’re giving it a right good go. We’ve a decent run of fixtures now until Christmas so hopefully some performances like today will get some wins.

It's more that Jack Clarke dared to leave us for a club, in his eyes, who are inferior to us. But in his eyes everyone is inferior to us. He is the most biased SAFC fan on here by a mile and won't have a word said against us no matter what. He's desperate for Ipswich, and therefore Clarke to fail just because he didn't stay at SAFC. And I know you'll laugh at this @Keith S30S but that doesn't make it untrue.

Well people have different perspectives and different things they want to do. It's something I would have considered. If I won £1 million on the lottery say, one of the things I might want to do is an Archaeology degree and perhaps a PhD. I wouldn't be able to afford to do those things AND pay the mortgage / bills otherwise.

In Clarke's case he may have felt that he had enough money (rare as that might be for a male of that age) and was being handsomely rewarded playing for a team that would play him as first choice each week. In hindsight with us dong pretty well this season I wonder if he would have still make the same choice. Or he may have preferred a move to The Premiership for more money and a chance of further glory.

I don't blame him or judge him for his choice. He did really well for us and I wish him well.

They don't. Leicester have a point more.

I always said Wolves and Palace would pick up. They have.

Ipswich have a better chance of staying up than Southampton, that's about it.

Yeah, but they're in worse form and have sacked the manager.

If Ipswich can turn a couple of these draws into wins they've got a decent chance. They're not badly placed. From the bottom five they've lost the least games.

That's their issue though, they have won only one game.

Leicester's new manager might be an improvement.

As things stand the 3 who went up are favourites to come down and rightly so.

As have Palace and Southampton. Leicester, Wolves and Everton only 2.

We'll have to wait and see. I just think from what I've seen of them, of the three teams promoted, they look like they have the best chance.
 
The premier league isn't just "better" than the championship. It also has different demands.
A team which is optimised to do very well in the championship might not necessarily do as great in the premier league.
Leicester with their 1 year holiday in the championship are still pretty much setup for operating in the premier league. That they even went down in the first place was bad luck.
Ipswich on the other hand...a lot more setup for lower leagues so they will have a tougher time adapting to the PL. They might still do it. But I think Leicester staying up is extremely likely whilst Ipswich is 50-50 at best.

Imagine if we went up and beat Spurs away early in the season, and a fan of say West Brom was on here was saying we were shite and didn't deserve to win it. Keith would be going f***ing mental. :lol:
 
Got lambasted on here when I suggested he was never a £25m player.

His stats were massively overstated due to the fact he took and scored pens.

He was very good in this league, but no way was he ever worth that sum.

If he stays there, and they go down, then he'll no doubt be a good player in this league again.

But as has been shown this season, he is very easily replaceable.

Same people complaining on here probably dont have an issue when we've signed players from lower league clubs over the years who wanted to play at a higher level and double/treble their wages.
