Raich Carter
Striker
He started slow for us as well probably needs time to adapt. That said bring him home.

Why would he want to live off 80k a year?
It's more that Jack Clarke dared to leave us for a club, in his eyes, who are inferior to us. But in his eyes everyone is inferior to us. He is the most biased SAFC fan on here by a mile and won't have a word said against us no matter what. He's desperate for Ipswich, and therefore Clarke to fail just because he didn't stay at SAFC. And I know you'll laugh at this @Keith S30S but that doesn't make it untrue. You’ve a real issue with us don’t you. Did we cost you an accumulator last season or something?
McKenna has taken us from 11th in League 1 to the premier league in three seasons with a total transfer spend of 5m. We’ve then spent this summer admittedly but have found our feet and getting results to match plenty of excellent performances.
Most neutrals thought we were the better team today against man United after an away win at spurs who’ve just gone and tonked Man City 4-0 themselves.
I know you’re desperate to be relegated based on other conversations on other threads. I can only assume maybe us going up annoyed you enough for you to be willing us to be rubbish every week. When in reality we’re giving it a right good go. We’ve a decent run of fixtures now until Christmas so hopefully some performances like today will get some wins.
*Sitting on the bench in the Premier LeagueIt’s also not unreasonable to suggest they stay up and we stay down but aside from that they are all ifs buts and maybes. The facts are they are in the premier league and we are in the championship. So again why would he have been better off staying
Proper fucked him. Probably on about 30k a week more and playing in the premier leagues. Awful
I can’t understand why Ipswich bought Clarke he’s a winger Ipswich don’t play with wingers*Sitting on the bench in the Premier League
You definitely can.No it wont. You can't easily live on £1m from 35 year old. Certainly not comfortably. And you absolutely can't then also support your family, provide financial security to your kids etc.
They look the most likely to stay up out of the promoted teams at present. His biggest strengths are dribbling and goals. Ipswich are playing him inside and blunting both. He's a bit part player at a team looking like relegation fodder.
Played 4 games for spurs hardly failed in the premier league fffs
Well people have different perspectives and different things they want to do. It's something I would have considered. If I won £1 million on the lottery say, one of the things I might want to do is an Archaeology degree and perhaps a PhD. I wouldn't be able to afford to do those things AND pay the mortgage / bills otherwise. This is batshit stuff as well. Why would you want to retrain for 5 years to go and live the next 30 years earning 50k a year as a spark or something when you can earn enough to make sure you never have to do something you don’t want to again in your life and set your kids up so they don’t either. Just live off the interest, so just go for 50k a week to 50k a yearjust to keep some football supporters happy
Close to a good assist yesterday.
I'm as disappointed as anyone he's gone, but he'll be alright.
They look the most likely to stay up out of the promoted teams at present.
Yeah, but they're in worse form and have sacked the manager. They don't. Leicester have a point more.
I always said Wolves and Palace would pick up. They have.
Ipswich have a better chance of staying up than Southampton, that's about it.
Yeah, but they're in worse form and have sacked the manager.
If Ipswich can turn a couple of these draws into wins they've got a decent chance. They're not badly placed. From the bottom five they've lost the least games.
As have Palace and Southampton. Leicester, Wolves and Everton only 2.That's their issue though, they have won only one game.
Leicester's new manager might be an improvement.
As things stand the 3 who went up are favourites to come down and rightly so.
Imagine if we went up and beat Spurs away early in the season, and a fan of say West Brom was on here was saying we were shite and didn't deserve to win it. Keith would be going f***ing mental. They completely outplayed Tottenham in the first half and deservedly won. Only when Spurs went hung ho in the second half did they look like getting anything from the game. This post reeks of bitterness.
Same people complaining on here probably dont have an issue when we've signed players from lower league clubs over the years who wanted to play at a higher level and double/treble their wages. Some sour grapes on this thread mind. He's earned enough money by 24? So what, he should be playing for fun now? He should have stayed in the Championship instead of testing himself in one of the best leagues in the world? Come off it.
It won’t, never will be a premier league player, just not good enough. He’s only one goal as a substitute away from starting and cementing his place in the team.
It will come.
