It would be funny if Clarke said no.

Not to Kyril Lovesthemags Dreyfus he wouldn’t. He’ll already be counting the money.

Either way there hasn’t been anything from the club to try and keep him there. I know we’ve spunked ridiculous money in the past but I don’t think a 10k pay rise is a stupid amount? Or is it?All that may be true but it would have been KLD who ultimately accepts or declines the offer. Speakman will be advising him & doing the negotiating.
What club is going to bid £25m for him? There an only one just now bidding £15m. Nobody wants him.
The club should have given him another 2 years, the highest wage and a £30m release clause next summer if we didn’t go up
SBC could've negotiated a higher fee than that, man. It's an absolute rock bottom price for one of the best players in the division who's best years are still well ahead of himIts not Speakmans fault like. The owners are simply refusing to fund transfers and want Clarke sold to fund the strikers.
What can speakman do? I'm sure speakman would rather have more money rather than less.
What did we do with the Stewart fee?
Only Leeds & Ipswich bid for him this window, not exactly the bidding war we'd of hoped for mindThey aren’t smart enough!
Whinge whinge whinge, outrage outrage outrage, whine whine whine, repeat everydayIf we had decent owners instead of pathetic cheapskates I might
My point is unlike us they actually invested and gambled and look where they are
Apparently hes gutted we’ve accepted the offer, and is feeling like his hands being forced now

Yeah that’s a fair point mind.It does seem cheap but on the other hand, where is the bidding war? There isn’t one, even at that price only newly promoted Ipswich think he’s worth a punt.
It’s devastating for us but he’s failed everywhere he’s been other than when he first broke into the Leeds side and even then he struggled when he went back on loan.
His left foot isn’t great and he doesn’t have blistering pace. For us he’s priceless but to one other club he’s worth a punt at £15-20m.
Probably is. Romano tweets what people pay him to. Harte or whoever will have wanted that in to ease the blow to SAFC fans, who I think Clarke genuinely likesGreat player for us but I can't see him setting the premier alight.
The defenders are a class above what he has been used to.
May not be, probably every English player wants to play in the premiership.
Nah not buying that for a second likeApparently hes gutted we’ve accepted the offer, and is feeling like his hands being forced now
This was to be expected for the model we have. Ross Stewart was sold for good money after he scored all our goals, now weve done the same with Jack Clarke after doing similar..this will always happen until we get to the Premier then it all changes as were on a level playing field in money terms.....
Mundle, Watson, Poveda....Isidor? there is plenty of potential to fill the void and hopefully we will soon forget about Clarke, thats the way it has to be unfortunately
Genuinely don't know as their approach makes little to no sense to me.so what's the end goal, as they won't make money and he'll have to fund the losses year on year?
the club obviously think this is a good deal. .
