Jack Clarke

They're not relevant at all lad. You'd never catch me dead saying you can't disagree with them lot laughing at us. Like you can be disappointed without embarrassing yourself by happily sucking off the barcodes.
Wtf are you talking about?!

The only people that's getting sucked off is Speakman and KLD from a few blind fans that think "ah well, never mind"

We're a laughing stock.

Mags get £40m for reserve team young 'un who's hardly kicked a ball, if at all, in first team football....the fee if correct for Clarke is horrific.

Lose him to a mid to lower table PL team a la Palace/Fulham etc but to fukin Ipswich Town who were L1 season afore last and one of the favourites to be relegated is beyond a joke.

Stewart's goals were not missed as much only because of Clarke's great season last year, 2 years running our top goalscorer has been sold, some goals now missing from that team at present which urgently needs replacing asap.

People are aware and accept the model to a degree but this is its first real test for me and we have sold much, much too cheap.
That reeked of PL back scratching mind

Good signing for Ipswich. From Clarke's point of view out of all the promoted clubs Ipswich are the best bet.

We had it with Tavernier, Spence, Rogers. I think the fee you got was low. We sold Rogers last season to Villa for £15m including add ons (think it was £9m up front). He had been on and off our bench for half a season in the championship - that's it.

Typical Sunderland this. Everything going quite good and they let us down by selling our best player for a very low fee. We should have just kept him for another year considering we sold a crocked Stewart for £10m in his last year.

Maybe I'll be wrong and we have an absolute gem of a replacement lined up for a bargain fee.

He was settled up here mate but the revised contract offers made to him were bollocks. Because he was already at the top end of our wage structure, our first offer was basically a slight improvement on his existing terms - which he rightly rejected.

Things have only changed recently and last week it finally looked like we had offered him someone in line with his market value. All too late though
Fair enough but maybe we weren’t in a position to offer him any more at the time.

Here is to hoping he knocks Ipswich back and signs the extension for the lads which was supposedly verbally agreed. Find it hard to comprehend what changed?

All seems very unlikely. 😞

You can’t compare the mags’ deal imo- it was clearly dodgy as fuck between them and Forest to avoid FFP.

You can however compare the Summerville and Scott ones. I’d also be curious to find out how much Ipswich spent on Szmodics.

Absolutely mate. The club is being ran by people who just don’t get it. There is literally NO DEFENCE in selling Clarke for £15m plus add ons if that is the actual figure that is being widely reported. It’s beyond total and utter incompetence, but it sadly comes as no surprise.
You don't sell your golden goose in the hope that a few ducks might start laying golden eggs

Mate don't embarrass yourself. You can say you're disappointed or upset without whacking "When the Mags say 'Let's all laugh at Sunderland' - you cannot disagree with them!" on the end of a post, just proper gonk behaviour.

The lad pulled us out of the shit so many times last season. Our two biggest goal threats gone in the space of about a year, and not a single player in to make up the difference.

Yep. If we fail to sign anyone the gaffer is well under pressure.
