We will sell someone. One. That’s always been the model and we need it as part of our pitch to the ambitious young players we want to buy. We are positioning ourselves as a stepping stone for the best talent. That is smart but it does require sacrifice.
We plan meticulously. My hunch is that the plan was always to sell Diarra. He was easily the most highly rated lad we signed in the summer and his replacement in the squad, Chris Rigg, is already here. I reckon we thought, he has a good season, we sel, Enzo and Rigg take over 10 duties.
As it’s happened, Sadiki and Roefs have probably become hotter than him. But if we are canny, it’ll still be him we move on. I honestly don’t think he is in the first XI now, not ahead of Enzo.

I think he has bags of potential, but agree we'd need a new number 1. Ellborg was cheap enough that we can leave him on the bench without feeling like we're wasting an expensive asset.
Elborg is not that bad, he needs game time as still very young in terms of keepers, maybe he just looks bad as roefs is so good
