Issue with Roefs?

He’s much more comfortable claiming in open play than at corners. Has been all season. He tends to punche, often poorly, from corners. Whereas open play you get those beautiful soaring two handed claims

Last 2 home games we’ve struggled to defend corners when opposition pack the six yard box and put the ball on top of the keeper and block him off, that isn’t just on Roefs however
 
Roefs has been good all season but that was his mistake and not helped by no right sided defender putting pressure on the cross and alderete not doing enough to mark evanilson. But roefs was ball watching imo
 
The lad that put the cross in was standing completely on his own with none of our players anywhere near him. That said as they said on the commentary if Roefs stayed back he’d probably be saving that.
 
He was good for the rest of the game. Collected most crosses and made some decent saves.

As usual, a brain fart from the keeper usually results in a goal. 99 times out of 100, he punches that and we say no more.

Everyone depends like that when the ball is on the other side of the pitch. If you don't you leave huge gaps through the middle. Balls on one side everyone shuffles together over that side. They just caught us moving the ball quicker than expected then Geertruida (I think) didn't close him down at all, he got to ten yards away and just stood there waiting for him to cross it past him
 
He's definitely not at the level he was in the first half of the season for some reason, hopefully gets back to his best ASAP.
