Issue with Roefs?


I thought he was superb today except for coming for that cross. To be fair though it was a superb whipped cross that tempted him off his line. It happens. Bloke had too much time and space to deliver it and the header would’ve gone in even if Roefs had stayed put, so it’s not a huge issue imo.
 
he was back to his best today with coming for crosses and commanding the area. unfortunately he ended up coming for one he shouldn't have. he'll learn though and i'd rather he do that than be stuck to his line. as he's noticeably lately not been coming out for as many balls
 
I don’t understand the harsh criticism of him coming for it, fair enough shouldn’t have gone but can’t see many keepers saving it if they stayed on their line either
 
He’s 21, he’ll make the odd mistake. Overall he’s been outstanding and I would be gutted if we don’t get close to a world record fee for a keeper. Rather keep him though

Barring the error which let’s face it wasn’t bad, he was excellent today.
Anyone criticising him are absolute whoppers
