Generally forums aren’t really popular these days so for this to be as busy as it is is very good going.

Checked out a few other before and not many seem to get much on in comparison. Red cafe does alright.

Best Football related forum on the internet by a long shot. Used to like an old setup where every club had a forum and you could dip in and out of each one easily. Can't remember what it was called but SKY pulled out and it closed. Stuck to a couple of crappy Derby one's and found this around 2006. Going on a derby forum is like being with the wife, coming on here is like being tied up by the bit on the side!

Football365 is great too, but the forum badly needs maintenance work, the owners Ole Media are absentee landlords. Plus, registration has been closed for years since CV started flooding the place with gay porn and that is contributing to a slow death. At its peak a few years ago it had something like 25k members, now it's about 5k.

I only joined here when that shut down, don't think it was shut down because of wums it was the costs of the moderators (they were BBC staff ) and they were shit hot at it.

We do have one of the 'better' forums. In better I mean most threads have a great number of replies.

You look at some other forums and it's about 4 people and that's it.

Just a shame that often a perfectly reasonable debate soon sinks into abuse. It never used to be like that.
