Good article in the Guardian. Reading this made me think how far the 16.4 is from the IPL and how much of a waste of time it actually is.

This impact sub is a dream for all the fatties and oldies. Have a quick bash for a few overs and put your feet up for the rest of the game.

Over many years on here the IPL has been criticised one way or the other.

But the bottom line is the players love it and most make themselves available for it above all others.

And the fans love it, some of the numbers are mind boggling.

And the cricket on show and enjoyment from the crowd is brilliant.

T20 especially in the IPL has come a long way and fans want to watch it.
 
Brook having an absolute nightmare so far, there failures from three innings striking at less than he does in tests. Hope it doesn’t ruin his confidence coming into our summer.
 
Brook gets his maiden ipl century off 55 balls.

Stokes apparently injured again and has missed the last 2 games due to it. Played 1st and has scored about 14 runs off 20 balls in total. So glad he had an injection to go out and play ipl rather than recover in time for a busy test summer
