IPL 2023 🇮🇳

Warner needs to get going if DC are to win this. He looks like he's just playing for the red ink.

Not that I care. I root for whichever team has a Durham player.
.
Wood finishes with 5/14 off his 4 overs.

Should be MoM or whatever the IPL equivalent is.

Only his second game too. I thought he had more of stint with CSK but clearly got injured.

So glad he's got his chance again. Hopefully keeps firing and goes away with the purple cap.

Probably not had the rewards he's deserved seeing some of the second rate pacers that have picked up millions in this comp.

I don't even watch the IPL yet probably know all the team names and purple and orange cap for top wicket and run score  .

Bizarre review.
Aye was obvious it wasn’t a bump ball, Kohli-esque almost.

Nee pressure Harry lad. 0-2 off the first over chasing over 200
Brook having a nightmare here. 11 dot balls out of 12 so far.

A huge early win for the Royals, quite a few fancy the Sunrisers to do well in the comp.

Reece Topley has dislocated his shoulder apparently, really unlucky with injuries recently

Siraj bowling an 11 ball over, including 4 identical wides in a row
His other 3 overs went for 5 runs

Massive recovery from MI. With the balance of probability, I think RCB have the squad to win this (obviously you never know with T20 cricket).

Cam Green has at least beaten Brook for worst debut of the day. 4 off 5 with the bat and one over for 17.

Not particularly a big fan of the IPL but enjoyed the cricket this weekend.

I personally think especially in this country it is clouded to a certain extent over a number of issues, such as India for a start, over the top commentary, and all the jazz that goes with it, franchises etc etc

However if strip all that away, which I do, and just focus on the actual cricket on show you have the very top cricketers in the world playing against each other in short format cricket, not sure what not to like if the focus is on that

That the majority of times is going to be a good watch imo
