Same here,but equally it's a learning experience for them. They'll come out better players for this experience
Also, all of the young batsmen - Pope (who let's not forget wasn't meant to be fit for this series and is coming back form injury), Crawley (another one who's carried an injury), Lawrence and Sibley have all been in the bubble for MONTHS with no respite.
Burns missed the SL tour and came into this cold and undercooked.
I don't think the effects of this should be understated. I think most young players would've really struggled being in a bubble away from home in a totally alien country for that length of time.
I tend to be over critical sometimes, but I really do think we should cut these lads some slack
