I dont get the Bess stuff, is there something we dont know
he played in 3 tests, we won them all, and he was vital in all 3 wins
He then gets dropped for 2 bunsen burners
it seems soley based on bowling a couple of full tosses on day 5 of first test
so what? you any idea how many Mo Ali bowled, was way way more.

Also Key is spot on about Pope on this, glad someone has said it, just the fact he has had the best treatment by management of any player I can remember, needs to step up a bit more rather than have his hand held

I couldn't agree more tbh mate. Bess should be in the side, especially since we don't have Ali anyway. His batting is usually very handy too. Not sure why the bowling is getting that much discussion tbh - bowlers have done a very good job all series. Our problem is batting, purely and simply we haven't made enough runs once the ball starts to turn. Even the second innings of the first test, we shouldn't have been bowled out that cheaply in that manner setting a declaration.
