Voice of fair play

I am not soo sure mate tbh.Nothing they did today was anything like the approach we took in the Ashes in the first two tests.
I think they've learned from that and hope it continues tomorrow.
It’s risk reward cricket that has undoubtedly been successful under this regime.
It seems to me not necessarily you,but that some posters are happy to applaud positive cricket that gives us outstanding chances to win games on flat wickets that historically would have draws or defeats in the past.
Yet at the same time can be critical when batsman get out to those positive shots that have contributed to putting us in strong positions in the first place!
The perfect balance you seem to be hoping for between attack and defence in reality will not happen.
I take the rough with the smooth and this teams results and entertainment mean I am more than happy to accept that on occasions this risky style of play will fall flat on its face.
