India A v England Lions

Carse and Potts 2 a piece.

India comfortably ahead 242-4

Parky gone for 0/72 at 6 runs an over.

5th bowler price 0/18 off 2.

Seamers ones going at 3 an over.

We've seen that before on first team tours, hope not the same when they come to bowl with only woody!

Lions still need 58 runs to safe themselves from an innings defeat. With two wickets remaining

A 102 run partnership from Robinson and Carse has helped narrow the gap. Robinson still there on 71

Last game of the ‘Series’ for the Lions (or more fittingly, the Durham Invitational XI) starts at 4am tomorrow, they’re currently 1-0 down, but of course three of the Indian lads from the last game are in the main squad and so are unlikely* to play.

Sarfaraz Kahn has scored 316 runs in 4 innings, Saurabh Kumar took 5 wickets in the England second innings last week. Washington Sundar appears to have been largely ineffective with the ball (2 wickets in the match, none in the second innings), but did make 55 with the bat in the Indian innings.

Has there been a stream for the first two games anywhere?

*Assuming there isn’t a county cricket style arrangement where one/some of them can join up on Day 2 if not selected for the Test team.

Potts tearing into the Indian top order with 4 of the 5 wickets to fall so far.

Carse has the other wicket.

125/5.
