That’s nowt to do with the club. Normal fans shouldn’t be punished because some Nigerian/Indian is selling fake tickets to gullible numpties.

I think that will have been the generic one saying your ticket is ready to download, with the little message about potential checks.
Rather than for the last few games where it’s been an email only to specific people saying they have been chosen for a check

Gonna head to ground and hour early , can't be arsed with the queues we had at Liverpool and potentially having to go to ticket office.

I’ve been driving for more than 50 years and have never been stopped by the authorities and asked to show my driving license. The only time it leaves the house is when I go on holiday in case I want to hire a car
blame all those who sell/pass on their tickets. the club are trying to stamp it out. surely it should be applauded.

To be fair I've only ever had to do that once.
The alternative would to have had to remember me licence tens of thousands of times.

Is it possible to use an 18-24 away ticket at Brentford for someone older than that? Or is it likely they’d check on the way in?

Didn't see or hear anyone getting checked today. Away ticket office was right there and didn't see anyone going to it. Was one lass in there working looked bored

Was a breeze to get in today like , we did get there around 2pm but really good options for drinks and bait so didn’t mind getting there early , loads done the same was canny busy on the concourse
Been saying this until i'm blue in the face. They had the chance at Brighton to close it down once and for all but instead of doing what they should have done (ie bought up and cancelled all of the tickets) they decide to inconvienence a few genuine fans. They always seem to make the wrong call. Bit like on another thread where people at the city game were asked to prove they had the right ticket - that should be sorted at the turnstile ffs. They never choose the obvious solution to a problem. As an aside I did see a couple of lads coming throught the turmstiles with paper tickets today, not sure if it was after a check?
I dont think it is - they know which blocks and rows and seat numbers have been sold?
