Many years ago you could get your hair cut free at Preston College hairdressing department.

I m sure this happened everywhere , it still might.

Thing was you had absolutely no say in the style or colour - they were trainees and you took your life in your hands .

To be fair some of the lads got some pretty cool mullets ( I think they bribed the cutters.)

Others weren’t so lucky.

Eh ? ah a haircut.........cut & blow = £20, with a colour probably about £50+ (I haven't had my hair cut since December 2019 so the cost may have increased).
