Oooh calm down precious sorry I just thought this was a safc forum not nufc anyway I'll let you get back to your period , remember dont flush down the toilet as the pads expand

I'm perfectly calm, always am .... it's a blessing tbh.

All I'm saying is that it's tedious having people coming on whining about the content while making little contribution.

Why not just post better threads about Sunderland ...... just a thought.

It's not so long ago that Mags, on this board, were boasting about being in 6th place with a win against the bottom team.

They could be 4th bottom this week and in a seriously bad run.

They could easily be in the bottom 3 by the end of the year.

All I want for Christmas is ..........

It was precisely the same negative tactics, and failure to take points from the "lesser" sides that got you relegated last time. History repeating itself but it's still Ashley's fault apparently.
So lets get this straight, these are exactly the same tactics as two seasons ago when Benitez was in charge for 10 games.

So the results from the preceding 28 games had nothing to do with the final position.

The consensus of Newcastle fans on here at the start of the season was that we would struggle unless we strengthened. Unlike so many on forums I'm happy to admit that I'm no football expert but even someone like me could see that we were weak up front.

The owner of the club is the one who is responsible for authorising payments. He's refused to do it in the last two windows when he was advised by the manager to buy. If he still owns the club in the next one he'll probably refuse to invest again.

It is Ashley's fault. To deny it is simply foolish.

BTW, selling someone to pay for someone else is not investing, it's just juggling the pack. He may try that again but I'm not sure there is anyone in the current squad that other clubs would want to buy, not for Sissoko type money anyway.

You did strengthen ..... and you're struggling.

According to 7 in, 12 out. Technically that's weakening the squad.

Also technically, Joselu is a striker, but he's shit. We still have that useless lump Mitrovich on the books. We haven't strengthened up front at all.

Most of the players on the pitch were recent signings and you look like relegation fodder. At some point you're going to have to concede that Rafa is not the messiah you're looking for.

At some point you're going to have to accept that Lewis Hamilton driving a Ford Focus is not going to win against Vettel driving a Ferrari.

You're effectively admitting that Rafa isn't the answer within your current constraints. Who is then ?
What a strange conclusion. I'm just saying that no matter who the manager is, by failing to give them support there is little chance of success. I'm very happy that we have Benitez as manager.
