Newcastle fan on radio Newcastle wanting Rafa sacked. He can't believe a manger of his experience is going two up top in this league when they were doing pretty well with one upfront. He has a point surely? You look in trouble to me - most of the teams behind you look like they have something about them. It wouldn't surprise me if even Palace go on a bit of a run.

The mags are just another one of those outfits that crawl up out of the championship and get off to a decent start and then completely disintegrate, like Blackpool.

Also if they get taken over no doubt he'll get whatever money he wants..
That said what happened to the Mags was predictable and shows the cost of going down and losing your best players even if you manage to come back up first time.
Last time the Mags went down they kept their squad together, bounced back and ended up 5th.
This time all their best players cleared out and Rafa was left with lots of dross under contract. To get up he bought a new squad but in the position they were in they weren't really Prem players but decent Champo ones at inflated prices. I said at the time if they wanted to get top half of the Prem this time when they got up, they would need to buy another new squad. And that's the case. They couldn't afford the time to build as expectations were so high.
I think Rafa did a decent job if I'm being honest...plenty of other relegated teams spent big and fail to get back up. But he's got a huge yet poor squad for the Prem. Unless a lot of money is spent they won't be troubling its top half for a while...

Watford were miles better than us yesterday. Yedlin was always losing his man, Diame absolute crap, Joselu rubbish. Looked a much different team once Merino and Mitrovic came on but we were already 3 down by then

Must be the easiest club in the world to manage Newcastle. If you are a bit of a big name in the game the fans will love you regardless. When he wins, its down to rafa been a world class manager yet when you lose it is all Mike Ashleys fault
