How long can Rafa last?

Part of the reason your in a mess is the amount of players Benitez signed last season I mean players like colback who are getting paid 40 grand a week and haven't even got a squad number. That's another reason why Benitez hasn't been allowed to bring players in
They had players that were sold for big money, he spent that money. None of the ones he signed will go for anywhere near it. So in the spend what you generate philosophy he’s not going to generate much

So, from this thread we have learned that Benitez is not as good as McClaren, Dyche, Moyes, Keane, Allardyce or Pardew, is a chequebook manager who is still doing quite well without money to spend, but also not doing as well as he should be, should be sacked because he's had a bad run, and the fans should be on his back. The mags "hounded out" Pardew for supposedly doing well and are derided for it,yet when showing patience with Benitez we are weirdos with a teenage crush who've painted ourselves into a corner with the infallible Benitez.

What a thread

I think you need to take this up with those on here that said we were relegation fodder tbf.

Do you know when you go to the match and before you are standing having a few pints with your Newcastle United supporting friends and they ask what you were doing Monday night do you tell them you spent the majority of it on the Sunderland message board? And then when they asked what you done Tuesday night do you tell them I spent they the majority of it on a Sunderland message board, same question for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday?

They must think you are a right Looney :)

Just thought I’d get that in before someone else did.

But random of someone you go the match with on a Saturday to ask

‘WHAT WERE YOU DOING MONDAY NIGHT?’

Surely they would just ask if you’d got up to anything the night before or wonder what you are doing for the rest of the weekend?

Once they start asking about five nights ago I’d just think they were a bit weird and a nosey bastard tbh.

Same question to you as well of you want - do you tell them?

Well I'd just say "i just stopped in and watched the telly", unless they required a detailed breakdown of every website or app that i had used on my phone across the course of the evening.
"6.43pm, checked twitter, 6.48pm, bbc weather, 6.55pm put the bairns to bed then had tea, 7.40pm checked bbc website to see fa cup draw, 8pm replied to a text about the draw, 8.30pm had a look at the Sunderland message board..."

Sorry - I forgot you weren't local

Forget the question, the the other Mag has took it

Is it?

Depends where you are tbf.

If you’re in the boozer before the match on a weekend and your mate asked you what you did on Monday night you wouldn’t find it a little odd?

‘Didn’t do much on Monday night mate but I made a waxa stir-fry three Wednesdays ago.’

So you don't tell them, fair enough, thanks for answering - enjoy the rest of your Monday night on the Sunderland message board

No, definitely not, there is a fair chance that's how loads of the conversations start with mates at the match - " you go out on Monday after graft"? :p

If you’re telling your friends your movements on random days of the week it just sounds like you’re trying to corroborate an alibi tbf.

It’s a bit weird.
