It’s those posters that would be criticising him?

As a wider point he’s not exempt from criticism in my mind. I’ve criticised him in the past and he’s made some poor selections with the team recently.

He still spent wahatever he spent regardless of what was brought in he spent it.
I’m not sure what bit of that in their net spend agenda they don’t get.
Would they have used net spend to absolve and excuse pardew, maclaren or any of the other managers they didn’t like of blame

That's shite though isn't it Keane had a far worse squad than Benitez but kept us up. Burnleys squad isn't great but are doing very well.

Surely a world class manager as most nufc fans keep banging on about should have no problems keeping you up comfortably. Fwiw I think he's a good manager but most of you lot go way over the top about him and that's what we all find funny

No manager can turn a pigs ear into silk purse.... no matter how much experience he has.

At the top level its' all about quality.

That is unless you want to swallow your principles and employ a bunch of muscle bound hoofers like Pulis

Part of the reason your in a mess is the amount of players Benitez signed last season I mean players like colback who are getting paid 40 grand a week and haven't even got a squad number. That's another reason why Benitez hasn't been allowed to bring players in

5m for players in PL is a bit of a joke.

We'd have been better off going for loans - but Ashley cannot see the return on that.

Anyhow - enough of this morbid shit- think we'll sneak a win vs Leicester this weekend and spend a bit at xmas
