When I was a kid I would have eaten my nanas broth everyday over the winter if I was given the chance, loved the stuff.



In what world would that ever be classed as a soup?

Because it has the consistency of a chunky veg soup obviously.

It's windy, getting cooler, so I'm making soup. My personal favourite is a minted pea recipe (potatoes, garlic, onions, stock, peas, mint, blended together.) I'm not sure that this can be beaten, especially with crusty bread.

Any other favourites?

My mam's broth has been a bit tasteless last few year despite making it the same way for years, she needs to get the f***er sorted like

My sister in law makes a fab one the recipe includes butter beans which I usually hate but in her soup it's yummy, you've reminded me I Must ask her for the recipe , thanks MT

Tomato..with toast encrusted with peanut butter dipped in ...its a super food
