You might start to struggle with season 3. If you can get through it keep going, because it gets better into the later series again.

I've enjoyed the first two seasons of Berlin Station, without ever thinking it's wonderful. Yet to watch season 3. As with Homeland, it tends to have some fillerish episodes in which nothing much happens but also some very tense set piece episodes.

Have'nt watched The Americans so can't comment on that.

Yeah I think I'll give it a go then, 3 seasons is enough and not too much of an investment, does look more my thing compared to The Americans, tempted to blitz that Sacha Baron Cohen Netflix one 'The Spy' as it's only 6 episodes first

Enjoyed The Spy, but the Americans became tedious so stopped watching it.
Loved Homeland though and it’s characters.

Yes. Mid 2 seasons are a dip. They pick up and peak by the end.
