Hemir

We should be worried about the size of the squad, the shite we are carrying and how we off load them .
Yes this is a concern, we can’t just keep buying shite & hoping they will come good. Pretty soon we won’t be able to sign anymore until we get rid of some.
Hemir is worse. He can’t even run
I’d say Hemir is worse Burstow, I know it’s not good to get onto these young players but the last two performances by Hemir have been tragic, he is not even jumping to challenge for the ball now. He’s just backing his arse into the opposing player.

Didn’t he score in every single pre season game?

No, only played a couple of games didn't he? Done well against Mallorca and everyone went mental. Ryan Noble scored a worldie once against decent opposition and then faded into obscurity. Hemir will be in Portuguese ligue 2 or a lesser team in ligue 1 in a year and a half.
Young lad, no senior strikers to learn from and extremely low on confidence. Is it surprising that he doesn't look class?

It isn't. But he shouldn't have been given the number 9 shirt and shouldn't be near the team, like anywhere near the squad.

Every head coach so far has remarked on his lack of aerobic fitness and one on how he was surprised at the intensity. He's also not 17 or 18 - he's 20 and although that's still young coming to a foreign country having played no real senior football puts him on the backfoot, because what he desperately needs is senior games, but he looks nowhere near up to it barring the odd 5 or 10 minute cameo. Any longer and you get to see how far off he is.

He desperately needs a loan to L1 next season, as you say he shouldn't have been given the number 9 and been so involved. The lack of experience has been a hindrance in lots of different ways.

I think he'll get a loan to league one. Someone will take him because of the clubs he's been at, because he is a big lad. Then they'll realise how bad he is and he'll barely get a kick again.

He's the type of signing when Peter Reid was here, would have been paragraph in the echo mentioning hin and you'd have see him trotting out for the reserves. The exposure we have given him is scary!

It's like them people never watched the first game of the season. It was eye opening how bad he was.
Mind blowing mate

However just badly managed iirc 🤣

L2 or lower for me

We’ve been in league one who the hell would want this guy he’s not at that level

You'd be surprised
I'd try to avoid loaning him the more I think of it. We need to try and get him gone on a permanent basis as soon as possible. Portugal is the best bet. If we have to cover some of his wages and pay him to leave then so be it. In the long run it'll save money.

If he goes out on loan and really struggles it will make him harder to shift.

Offer him back to where he came from, obviously we would take a hit but we need him gone & a place opened up someone who will contribute.

Doubt Benfica are desperate
We are going to struggle to shift him, he’s shown nowt that any club would be interested in over here. Benfica must have seen something in him to give him games at any level, if we make the deal attractive for them they might consider it. I can’t see many other options really.

Just loan him out until his contract is out. There's always idiots around, like Burstow done terrible at Charlton, need I say much more...
