Love it.
Makes great seaside sandwiches, though I've not noticed it in the shops so much of late.

By the way, who knows how to make traditional homemade seaside sandwiches ?

What's the SMB's verdict on it? Food of the gods or food for scratters?

Just bought some for the first time in years and I'm enjoying my sarnie

Used to buy that to make my sandwiches for work a lot of years ago. Was okay for a change, but moved on to better things.

I'm not that keen on it by itself BUT can add a new dimension to a cheese & salad sandwich.

My old lady used to make cold sausage sandwiches with fresh sliced tomato on for car journeys. Used to love them like.

It was always egg, tomato and salad cream when I was a bairn.

Ours was egg and tomato well chopped up and well mixed up with a touch of salad cream and lashings of salt, pepper and vinegar.
My Mother used to make them by the truckload to feed the helpers in the hayfields, together with huge enamelled canteens of hot tea.
Most of them were pitmen helping out between shifts. It was hard work, but paradise for them lads to be out in the fresh air, compared to working underground.

Never had it. We used to put it inside the dogs Kong toy when he was a puppy though and he quite liked it.

Sometimes add it to fishfinger sarnies. Just a little.
