Heart wrenching scenes in movies

Two just off the top of my head.

Mr Hollands Opus - When Mr Holland sings Beautiful Boy to his deaf son.

The Bridges of Madison County - When Clint is standing in the rain looking on as Streep drives away with her husband.

Most recently the ending of Wonka when he sings pure imagination nearly got me.
Bridges is one of my favourite films and agree that scene is utterly heartbreaking

Not so much in films because I’m hard as owt but there’s an episode of scrubs with Brendan Fraser in it which sent me, in fact a later episode where one of the nurses dies had me a wreck.

There is no film that impacts me like The Bridges of Madison County; it turns me into a quivering, blubbering blob. Not a single scene - the whole damned film.
Never seen Mr Holland's Opus. I'll seek it out if I feel the need to release any excessive salty water.
It's a great film with brilliant acting from Streep and Eastwood.

Mr Hollands Opus is on YouTube. It's an underrated hidden gem in my opinion.

Not a film, but there's a particular part of the Band of Brothers episode Why We Fight when they're liberating the camp and one of the survivors grabs Private Janovec, kissing him, and hugs him so tightly and bursts into tears.

I'm absolutely nee good whenever I watch that no matter how many times I see it.
