I tried to book my vaccine online, but was offered a jab at Sunderland or York.
I phoned my docs, to try to get a jab in H/pool, but none were currently available, though I was told to phone again next week, and they'd sort something within H/pool for me.

Just booked at least 4 times then when you confirm they have gone. Frustrating.

Eventually got booked in for March 23 after two days of trying - incredibly frustrating booking system.

Just back from the jab in Preston City Centre.
In and out in no time at all - didn’t feel a thing - maybe like a fly landing on your arm. Absolutely superb system.

Beautiful people doing wonderful things - and I told them that.

keep trying online, don't know why but fresh slots become available all the time , must be cancellations or extra capacity. good luck.

If you're coming from Washington, it's easier going through Concord and round the back of Nissan if you know that way to avoid the roadworks on the A19.

Plenty of parking available. Have your appointment notification ready. There was a security guard on the road outside and I had to show my text before I was allowed into the car park.

They tell you what vaccine you are getting and also write it on a little card that you need to take with you for your second jab.
You don't have a choice which one you get.

They told me I was having the AZ during the quick interview. There’s no choice.
Had it yesterday and I m top drawer - perhaps a tad tired , that’s all.

You'll only be offered an alternative if there is a reason you can't have whatever one they have on the day of your visit. I had an allergic reaction to penicillin in the past and would have been refused Pfizer, but they had AZ on the day I went so I was fine to have that.
