Hartlepool United

Was at the game v Barrow, woeful first half from the Pools but the second half for them was a lot lot better. If the can produce that more often then there is hope. Beat Harrogate in the cup Saturday, is this the turning point?

Only hope they have is keeping Umerah fit cos nobody else looks remotely like scoring goals for them.

Any unrest yet? Was driving through the town and there seemed a fair few early leavers, guessed the result wouldn’t be good.

Fans were bickering up at Barrow two weeks ago but no unrest yet at home in terms of chanting/aggro/. Ground was about 80% empty by the end and many were leaving after about an hour. Only one player fronted up at full time, the rest quietly applauded in the centre circle then headed off. That said player did get a little bit of stick (as I've said most were long gone home), but on whole most appreciated he had the balls to front up/apologise/applaud. Today was a turning point though, and it's only a matter of time before it boils over at home

As a Sunderland and Hartlepools fan it's been a mixed day........ Still I will be there at Crawley on Friday night hoping for a miracle and again at the fabulous Stadium of Light hoping West Brom don't get their usual draw but rather another win for the Mighty Black Cats......

Ha'way the Lads and Up the Pools!!!!!!
