I agree. Strange when you look at his season by season stats. Barring the 2-3 seasons at Blackburn he just plodded along nicely. it's his sheer longevity that got him the record.

How wont he? Hes got 66 Premiership goals and he's 23.

He can arguably play top flight footy until hes 34ish needing 194 goals.

11 years to average 18 goals a season is more than acheivable when hes hitting 20+ a season and yet to peak. He doesnt really appear to rely on pace either and takes penalties.

He was not trapping the ball from 5 yard passes, every cross he hit was too long or too short,not sure what the system has to do with him not doing basic things you would expect.

He was a completly diffrent player in that tourament along with Sterling could not believe my eyes watching two quality players playing soo bad
