Fantastic player. Has the power, strength, mentality and fantastic shooting availability. He is an old fashioned number 9 striker who has adopted well to the new modern days formation.

But, if to improve, he needs to increase his goals in Europe and top level games (other than penalties). For example in Euros he was awful, in Europe this season awful, and in a decisive game against Chelsea under pressure last season, not the best. But he has the assats to get there, as his finishing is very impressive.

Sanchez, Costa, Ibra, Aguero are all better - but marginally so. Win a cup or title, my view may change.

How do you judge who's the best then? Sure top goal scorer is a fair reflection of who's the best?
When Phillips won the golden boot he wasn't the best striker in Europe - he just scored the most goals. Same as the year before when Jardel won it, he wasn't the best either.

Quite a few different things, not just based on one stat. Is Tom Heaton the best keeper in the league because he's made the most saves? Is Jordan Henderson the best passer in the league because he's made the most passes? Are Lukaku, Harry Kane and Alexis Sanchez as equally good as each other because they've scored the same goals?

Doing it in in big European games, International tournaments, big PL games, aswell as scoring hat tricks against Stoke

I remember when Berbatov was top scorer and most of them came in batches and against the lower teams, hat trick against Bolton, 5 against Blackburn, plus an hat trick against Liverpool tbf but they were shit at the time. He wasn't the best striker in the league, Ferguson didn't even play him in the biggest games like CL final so didn't think he was the best at Man U.

Will end up at Madrid if he keeps this up

his lack of form at international level will put them off. It would take the real deal to break the mould and actually live up to the hype when playing for England and only then will any of the top brass pay attention.

He's class against the also-rans, no doubt about that, and he's great to watch.

His record against the best sides isn't that impressive is it?

I just want to point out that Harry Kane is a name that sounds hard as fuck for an American detective with disregard for protocol but for a young English lad it makes him sound a right posh sod with plums in his mouth.

Statistically Henderson is the best passer in the league then, anything else is just your opinion.

No he isn't, that doesn't make sense again.
He's got the best % of passing in the league so he's the best at it
Kane got the most goals last season so he's the best goalscorer/striker.

This season Courtois, Azpilicueta, Alonso, Cahill, Luiz and Kante have the most clean sheets, they're the best defence.
