Harry Kane

Pretty much inevitable at this stage. He's got statistically the best defensive midfielder in the Premier League for the last 2 seasons consecutively which was why Tuchel couldn't put a proper team together.

It's pretty much like saying PSG will win Ligue 1 this year but the dopes of the SMB wrote him off all because of a viral video at Burnley.
Inevitable is a bit of a leap mind. He has a very good side but then they did last season too.

I think he got a bit of stick because of his dreadful Burnley side, the video just added a little more to it.
The first page of this thread. Seems like the OP has been a bit of a human shield for a few others
@Hongkongphooey is the hero we (they) need.

I don't think inevitable is a leap at all. They went an entire season without a defensive midfielder and just missed out on the Champions league final knocking out Arsenal in the process. Then they added the best one from the Prem of the last 2 seasons. It's pretty much literally the perfect signing for them to start steamrolling teams again. They'll get the odd blip but these 4-5 goals a game are just gonna be the norm for this season.

In fairness that's not a totally unreasonable opinion when you look at his managerial record, but doubting Kane is just contrary nonsense.
No it misunderstands how he had his Burnley team playing. Their style indicated he would suit a team that would get a lot of the ball. He'll do well at Bayern. Win trophies etc. Whether he wins the CL is a different matter of course

That's a far too sophisticated argument for me. World class defender without doubt but mangerially I remain to be convinced.

Another one for Harry today as he becomes the all time top scoring Englishman in the Bundesliga.
