Plays for a big London team so show some good form and you automatically become brilliant and get picked for the England team.

Was not to long ago he was a bit of joke re being rubbish got to love the cockney media as nothing further than Watford exists the massive bellends.
 
He's a decent enough player with the potential to become a really good player both for Spurs and the National Team. Whether he realizes that potential is another matter.

He is the same age as Wickham, interested to see which one develops quickest (if any) ....
 
Seems promising. England lack strikers beyond Rooney, Sturridge and Welbeck currently (hence Lambert getting in the squad).

Kane, Wickham and Berahino are all the same age and all promising enough. No guarantee any of them will be top class but they're pretty much the best of the current young English strikers (with Ings, maybe?).

Don't think he's anything special, he's just buzzung with confidence at the minute which is giving him a huge boost. Bit like Andros Townsend on his ten game spell.

I like him though, he just looks like a gormless lovable twat.

Kane? As I've said before, Townsend looks like the Pink Panther and the Pink Panther, whilst loveable, isn't gormless...
 
well considering loads of our supporters went into wankfest mode over Connor Wickham scoring a couple of close range headers and tap in's at the back end of last season, then by comparison Harry Kane is not getting enough attention I would say!! :-)
 
He looks a decent prospect but as usual the media go way over the top too early. He could progress into being a good footballer but he could just as easily turn out to be a flash in the pan for Spurs

He looks decent so far, nothing more
 
Not sure about how good he can be but he's a canny lad and always puts a shift in. Not his fault if he gets over hyped.

He's a really good young player, always been very successful at youth level, but made his debut at too young an age and got written off by a lot of our fans. However he's continued to develop, had some successful loans, and now has stepped up to the first team and does not look out of place. In fact he's quite comfortably our best striker right now and is a breath of fresh air in comparison to Adebayor. Don't see the point of this thread, he's a promising young English striker, that's broken into a top six side and is taking his chance with both hands. Don't get me wrong, he's not a world beater, and he probably never will be, but he's a very good talent, that works extremely hard, has a natural instinct for goalscoring and just drives our team on. His partnership with Soldado is promising and along with Mason and Bentaleb we have a nice young academy nucleus through the centre. Everyone loves an academy product breaking through, and Kane could be the catalyst to turn our season around.
