5 Premier League goals in 19 games.This season 2 Premier League goals in 9 games so why the fuck am i always hearing how brilliant he is.Alan Brazil on talkSHITE a couple of weeks ago asked a London based newspaper reporter ` is he a future England centre forward'.MOTD 2 highlighted a few of his runs on Sunday and when two of them resulted in piss poor shots which barely reached the keeper they said ` he had the confidence to have a shot'. Remember it's not Kane it's HARRY Kane. I expect Redknapp to step in and say he watched him as a 3 year old and knew he would be a triffic player,just like Frank,Rio and Joey.

I remember threads on here likening McClean to Bale when he first came on the scene, every young player gets overrated.
 
It's pathetic like. He's hardly banging them in for fun, looks like a big stiff to me. Poch didn't even want him in the summer
 
Decent enough player, young enough to improve. Nowt worth getting yasell worked up ower :-)

Plus I like him cos he nicked a point for us earlier this season.

To be fair, the fans do it as well. Young players in this country are praised to the high heavens after 15-20 decent games. Let them just play football and continue their development at their own speed. We've done it up here with Waghorn, Noble, Henderson, Colback etc so it's fairly hypocritical to give grief to a radio station that makes controversial/ over the top statements to get listeners to call in.
 
To be fair a lot of his premier league starts have been from the bench yet he still has 11 goals in 16 games this season in all competitions.
