Striker
Agree to an extent. He seems to work hard when he has the ball. But absolute rubbish without the ball. He gets crticism if you notice because he seems to stand still waiting for the ball rather than move around like most players will do. His movement without the ball is the worst in the team thus some will categorize him as being lazy. Two things he needs to work on and may still be a player in him. Movement without the ball and looking up to pass or shoot as he keeps his head down...way too long.
Exactly... gomez post strike and rebound last game was a prime example... any striker worth his weight makes a lunge for that in wicks spot. Instead, he bunny hopped in place the threw his hands in the air and made a shit face after ball went past him. He was irritated with himself for not timing it and making a lunge but to be fair, you can't teach instinct.
