They hardly went mad about Wickham. It was more to do with our circumstances at the time. Kane looks decent but he's still got a lot to prove, IMO. They had a similar wankfest over Townnsend last year.
 
12 goals in 20 games in all competitions this season. Think he has a good future.

Same age as Wickham aswell and is showing more promise. Both could be future England strikers with the right guidance but think Spurs will develop Kane quicker then we will with Wickham unfortunately.

There was a thread on here the other weak. A lot of people thought he was over rated. Think he has a good all round game personally. Seems to score all sorts of different goals.

Wickham isn't playing as a central striker, so that will affect things.
 
Scored largely against Bulgaria farmers. 3 in the league isn't much to shout about considering he has played in most of the games 16 in but I like his work rate!

I think he looks quality. Great in the air too. I wish Wickham would stay central aswell. Only way he is going to score more goals.

Thats exactly my point. Spurs have dropped Soldado and Adebayor to give him a game up top to develop him as a striker and we persist with putting Altidore up top with Wickham out wide. We should be putting him up top like the back end of last season.
 
Like the look of Kane like, puts himself about and has the quality to boot. Potentially very good.
