I refuse to believe he said those exact words like.

If he did I wouldn't be surprised to see Bally in charge for the Arsenal game.

his full time email was bollocks, none of it was his fault just for a change
You're reading what you want to read based on your agenda. At no point did he say he wasn't responsible or blame anyone else. He said it was one of those days where nothing went right and now they have to learn from it and fix it.

Nowt wrong with it unless you're desperately looking for an excuse to stick the knife in. f***ing sick of this turncoat attitude from our supporters on here, they have absolutely no patience and are a complete embarrassment.

Poyet is employed as a coach, he knew the remit when he took the job.
I see your point, but I really would be surprised if he signed on for another 2 years if he didn't have reassurances about signings and moving forward. It's very clear we have not strengthened and I can't see why Poyet would have continued after 'the miracle' of last season when he could have easily left with a very good addition to his C.V.

This.

Wholly agree.

The OP is a load of made-up tosh.

Still no confirmation?, still people acting like it's true? Good old smb, always ready for a good old fashioned witch hunt.

His full time email was spot on, by the way. Suitably apologetic and made no excuses. No wonder it's been almost completely ignored in favor of this abortion of a thread.

I've got my bell, book, and candle....;)

Post match comments - I just pick the team - I didnt buy the players.

Appalling attitude. You also pick the team - coach the fuckers and organise and motivate them. Pathetic.

Typical Gus, Never his fault when he's had a bad day at the office.

Then God help us,as Hes a mackem version of pardew with his comments to appease the natives .strong hand shake etc...

If he did remark about himself not being responsible for bringing in the players. Then he is basically saying "don't blame me, blame the players". That will go down a treat in the dressing room and will only end one way.
