Can only be a good thing for us, it means you can be pretty awful and be alright.

I disagree mate, plenty been saying since august that we were short. Alvarez and giaccherini being out has fucked us for options long term.

Leaving ourselves with 6 defenders is nothing less than a joke. Coates is a crock too. We only have one player capable of playing left back.

We still haven't addressed the pace problem we have.

Course he does. Anyone wanting him sacked after today is a gonk.

All I'm saying is it's no way to judge anyone. What worries me more than anything is the complete abandonment of his way of playing this season. It's absolutely disappeared.

That's been our problem for years, I've always put it down to negative tactics from managers, that still remains.
Only difference with Gus being we create little but have more possession, wonderful.

Meaningless possession is one of the most overrated things in football. Especially when we don't have the most technically skilled players on the balls and one errant pass sets up the other team on the counter. It's not like we really have the movement to beat a set defence with Gus' tactics anyway so I don't understand if the extra possession is really that much of a positive.

I would say when you have the ball the opposition can't score but that's not even true.

Marking the space instead of the man is fine when trying to keep your shape but when one pass is regularly taking 3 or 4 of your players out of the game then something's gone amiss and needs addressing fast.

He shouldn't be the only one taking criticism but there should definitely be questions asked.

Like why are 2 of our most expensive players sitting on the bench with Poyet unable to get a tune out of them?

Or if Poyet knew how short we were, why did he sign a player known to be injury prone as our defensive cover?

Or how about, given the terrible signings of Bridcutt and Scocco which Poyet definitely had an input in, why does he think he can question anybody else's transfer record?

Or finally, why the fuck did he sign 2 contracts to work under a director of football only to publically complain about it when we lose?
