Ha! I thought that too but I bow to others superior knowledge of the place.Doesn't look half bad to be honest.
That’s my local! Never been in like.I used to live not too far away from this one when I lived in Edinburgh.

Also, this one closer to where I currently live:
There’s been at least one murder within 50ft of their in the last 10 years, and of course it’s the source of this crackers news story:
If you can't find sun cream this summer - don't do what these 'daft' tanners did
George Kerr, 56, and Dean McLaren, 43, were desperate for a tan when their local convenience store in Dundee ran out of baby oil they opted for cooking oil insteadwww.irishmirror.ie
Was trying to find a picture of the glebe before it got torn down/fell over, came across this sit which while unrelated might be of interest...
Public Houses | Sunderland Taprooms.
My website is basically a collecton of Public Houses Sunderland Taprooms as the title says. Based in the north-east it's old and new pubs and clubs.alanbolan.wixsite.com
Nope, there was one in Coventry used to have two Dobermans on theirs.Don’t all flat roofed pubs have an Alsatian standing on it?
Was in there last summer. Grim and that was just the clientele.Part of the whole thing though. I dread to think what the Eden Bar is like these days. Whole thing looks a mess. Obviously it’ll get to the point when it’s dropping to bits beyond repair and it’ll come down.
I had to go into the Black Garter for work earlier this year. I'd prefer to never go there ever again.
The Ferryboat? I moved out of Edinburgh 11 years ago, but I heard some stories both from locals and from the Insolvency Team at the firm I worked at that would make me never want to go in.That’s my local! Never been in like.
Real characters in there who will interrogate you if you stay more than 1 pint. Never really felt threatened in there just very uneasy.
It's in one of the grimest looking streets in the city, just the other side of the M8 from the Royal Infirmary. Lot of the land is polluted from chemical works gong back to Victorian times, plus it was a dumping ground for Irish immigrants.Where the hell is that, I bet it’s class
Sort of bar that you get searched for weapons and you don’t have any they’ll give you one to stand a chanceAlways recall a quote from one of my old bosses about a pub he went into one weekend; "Wouldn't say it was rough but you needed 3 black eyes just to get in"
That does look like a nice enough building to be fair.Locals will fight this to the end...
