That is class mate.if ya don't know it already mate, check out "double fantasy"
I was expecting to hate that and then I was pleasantly surprised. Then Jon Anderson started singing
I’ve mentioned this before but around the time Being Boiled and Private Plane were released me and my marra read a Fripp n ENO interview in which they stated the future of pop music was synth/voc duos.
So we decided that what the world of popular music needed was a synth trio composed of two idiots from Sunderland being Burt Bacharach and Hal David with whatever good looking lass we could find to front us.
Down to whites music shop we went to price up the synths.........”How much? That’s three fuckin months wages!”. So we stepped aside magstyle and allowed OMD, The Human League, The Pet Shop Boys, Yazoo, Erasure etc to clean up.
Twas probably for the best as unlimited sex n drugs n drink n late nights with no discernible reason to get up in the morning would’ve done for us. Paid for drink nearly did for me anyway.
Anyway search for Private Plane by Thomas Leer. It’s as good as pop music has ever got and all on a synth that we almost certainly couldn’t afford. Which incidentally goes for about five or six grand on eBay these days.
Blipperty dipperty dip.

We’d still be massive marra. Far too big to play the likes of Wearside. We’d be headlining at Glastonbury as a warm up gig for the big uns.To think you could've been on stage in Herrington Park.
Behave, you might break a fingernail..I’ll take your face off you suede-fringed jacketed freak
