Grandpa Dickies Shed

Yeah the terrace is a massive bonus. Only The Wolsey in Roker has a West facing terrace(only one that's near the coast anyway). It will be a big hit for late night summer drinking.
I've been in a few times and my only criticism is the size of the bogs, way too small. Other than that I can see it being popular
Harbour View does albeit small.

To be honest a bad review on here means nothing - ask yourselves this, if you opened a pub would you want it to be full of blokes who spend half their lives sitting on their phones posting on message boards? Not the type of customer i expect they are aiming for - no offence intended 😉

Aye, I agree. Probably the best bar down there for location, busyness, drinks selection, clientele etc.
Joking aren’t you?! Went to House of Zen a few weeks ago & the drink selection was shite. Surger cans of Guinness, which I’ve never had a good one of, or, well nowt that’s beer related, just a pretty shite pale ale, that wasn’t lager. Not even a bottle of brown ale.

Never tried the Guinness, had some Camden on which did me.

I hate this nonsense that businesses should be supported. If a business wants to stay open it needs to offer what customers want, if they can’t do that they’ll struggle. People shouldn’t have some kind of obligation to support someone else’s business.
No one said anything about feeling obligated to support businesses, but I do think people can often be over critical at times, whilst not fully appreciating the effects it can cause to a business. An honest review has pros and cons imo, if it's 100% critical, I'm cynical and would wonder if the person is either negative by default or has an agenda. Each to their own.

Tried seaburn inn yesterday afternoon
Too windy sitting outside
Glasses blowing off tables and smashing
People twisting on to each other because of the wind
Poor drinks selection and quite pricey
Other that had a great time

I sat inside and didn’t hear any moaning. Chips were lovely too even if the portion was a bit small.

I've never had a bad experience in there. Drinks selection fine, staff good and food nice.

Popped in yesterday but the beer garden was rammed. There was 7 of us plus kids and no way we were getting seated.
Didn't have a good look about bur thought it looked canny.

Went to Grannies instead. Lost a third of a pint to the wind.
