Just to give you a heads up. Today is the funeral and the last chance for many to say their final goodbyes.

For those inclined, www.stokecityfc.com will be broadcasting the funeral, which starts at the Britannia Stadium at 12:15 where the funeral cortege will be driven through the stadium, infront of attending supporters, before embarking on a 10 mile trip around Stoke on Trent before the service at Stoke minster.

The coffin will be carried into church by Jack Butland (Stoke), Joe Anyon (Chesterfield), Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester) and Joe Hart (England) to represent all of Gordon's main clubs.

Sounds a very fitting tribute for a wonderful footballer and a very well loved bloke. A good life well lived.
