Samsung, it jollied up to my phone and signed into all if my accounts which was nice
 
Largely, with tellies, you get what you pay for.
There's a little vfm advantage in certain brands, but nobody makes a £500 telly that's better than other maker's £1000 set.

Have a look on places like expertreviews and see what they recommend for under £500 and go from there. Or put a post up on AVForums.
 
Got my last tv from Panasonic eBay outlet, was ‘refurbished’ but effectively brand new. 55” OLED for £800
 
Tellys just clapped out, what's a good make telly these days and can you get one where you pay monthly for it, without a credit rating??

I've had a Panasonic for 11 years.

The Koreans I used to work with all rated LG higher than Samsung - which was hilarious since we were all employed by Samsung.
