Where did you move to?I lived in coronation terrace and moved to Hong Kong initially,no culture shock as I was used to loons by the time I left,some very insular folk down the bank.

Bloody hell. Lived above the place for a couple of years. My friend had the boozer during that time. Safe to say it didn't end too well, far to much booze. Was a lovely place to be honest, great in the summer months.

A serious lack of pubs round there these days then. None in Pennywell either so excluding the club the nearest pubs to the Potter must be the Hastings and then the Willow Pond? Mental.

Afaik, but I don't get down there now, used to live down there but moved away a couple of years back. Haven't heard otherwise from anyone so think it's still going, it was a month or so back

Cheap supermarket booze is the answer.
When there were houses and industry on the riverside (and more pubs) then it was in a good spot. Since that all stopped then its been too far out of the way for passing trade.
