I watched ‘death warrant’ on the paramount channel on Sunday and the ‘n-word’ had been edited out of that. The context it was used in was important to show the racist attitude of a character (but I admit not essential) however it begs the question how far does censoring need to go. A lot of such language isn’t used deliberately to cause offence - it’s more often than not all about context.
